Loretta Faye Uriguen

Loretta “Faye” Uriguen was born August 16, 1938, in Nampa, Idaho, to Florence and Lester Neilson. She was born and raised in Marsing, Idaho, and graduated from Marsing High in 1957. Loretta married Domingo Uriguen in 1958, and they were married for 62 years. They lived in the Marsing area, farmed and ranched, and moved to Caldwell in 1964 where they raised their family: Terry, Susie, and Steve.

Loretta worked for the Caldwell School District for 20 plus years.

She is preceded in death by her spouse, son, grandchildren, great grandson, and many siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Susie (John) Cushman; son, Steve (Michelle) Uriguen; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; as well as four sisters.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 11:00 am at Canyon Hill Cemetery in Caldwell, with a dinner to follow at the Basque Center, Txoko Ona, in Homedale at 1:00 pm.
