Delbert Henry Stevens

STEVENS, Delbert Henry "Steve" 93, of Tampa, Florida, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026. He was born in Rochester, New York and moved to Florida in 1992.  Steve proudly served his country and became a successful aircraft mechanic.

Steve and his wife, Essie, enjoyed RV travel throughout the United States. He also enjoyed travelling to many countries around the world to see the beautiful sights and cultures.

He was loved by all, especially the staff at the Golden Egg, his Tampa neighbors and the caregiving staff at Donna’s Devoted.  He would frequently be seen on his scooter in the neighborhood or visiting friends in Apollo Beach on his weekend getaways. He will be greatly missed.

Steve is preceded in death by his wife, Essie and son, Dana Ray Stevens. Graveside services with full military rites will be held at 12:30pm on Friday, March 27, 2026 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.

A Celebration of Life will be held at his home in Tampa following his burial from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. Please, contact [email protected] for details.
