Kimberly Joan Price James

Kimberly Joan Price James, age 64, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2026. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kimberly was born at Warner Robins Air Force Base in Georgia. She later attended high school in Wilson, North Carolina. After completing 11th grade, Kimberly married Peter Marth at the age of 17, and she graduated high school in 1980.

Kimberly spent much of her life in Maryland, where she raised her family and dedicated herself to being a loving stay-at-home mother. She was always there for her children, taking them to their sporting events, supporting their activities, and creating countless memories that her family will cherish forever.

Kimberly and Peter were blessed with six children: Heather Marth, Matthew Marth, Mary Marth, Zachary Marth, Elizabeth Murphy, and Rebekah Strawser.

Later in life, Kimberly married her loving husband, Eric James. Together, they made their home in Tampa, Florida, where they shared many happy years together. Eric brought two children into their family, Eric James Jr. and Jessica James, whom Kimberly loved as part of her extended family.

Kimberly enjoyed the simple things that brought happiness to her life. She loved cooking, spending time with her dogs, and especially loved trips to the beach. Some of her favorite memories were beach trips with her nephew Dustin Sinclair, who also lived in Tampa. She treasured her trips back north to Maryland to visit her children, grandchildren, and Eric’s family, where she enjoyed spending time with the people she loved.

Kimberly’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her husband, Eric James; her six children: Heather Marth, Matthew Marth, Mary Marth, Zachary Marth, Elizabeth Murphy, and Rebekah Strawser; and her stepchildren, Eric James Jr. and Jessica James.

She leaves behind her grandchildren: Luke Cummings, Severn Cummings, and Oliver Cummings; Allen Ewing; Grace Draper; Zachary Marth Jr. and Matthew Marth; Mia Smith; Amara Jones; Normand Maxwell Murphy; Joseph Cole James, Elijah Adin James, and Ava James. She was also blessed with her great-grandson, Hudson Oliver Cummings.

Kimberly is survived by her mother, Angela Price, and her sisters Julie Caskey and her husband Kent of South Carolina, and Debbie Price of North Carolina.

Kimberly will be remembered for her love of family, her dedication as a mother, her kindness, and the memories she created with those around her.
