Margaret (Peggy) Bunner

Peggy was born on January 28, 1928 in Washington, PA and passed away on September 27, 2026 at the age of 98. She married Dale Bunner in 1950. They moved from Washington to DuBois, PA, in 1955, to New Brunswick, NJ in 1957 and to Elmira, NY in 1958 due to Dale’s management work for JC Penny’s. In 1979 they moved to Tampa, FL in order to enjoy warmer weather. At that time Dale worked as a painter and Peggy continued her career as a secretary until her retirement.

Peggy is predeceased by her husband, D. Dale Bunner and her son, Richard Bunner.

She is survived by her son, Dan (Onalee) Bunner, daughters, Ellen Glass and Kathy (Rick) Paggio; Grandchildren Luke (Kelly) Bunner, Brian (Rachel) Paggio, Kyle (Rachel) Paggio, Tammy (Dan) Thompson, Michelle Russo, Travis (Christina) Bunner, Colby (Katie) Glass and Jamie (Paul) Wernicke; Great Grandchildren Lilly Paggio, Gabriel Bunner, Ally (Tristan) Ponader, Judah Glass, Joel Glass, Piper Paggio, Tucker Paggio, Hannah Bunner, Maddie Bunner, Aubrey Wernicke, and Emma Bunner; Great Great Grandchildren Maggie and Lee Ponader.

Peggy was an avid reader, loved solving crossword puzzles and enjoyed socializing with family and friends. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
