Mary A Fertic

Oct 5, 1938 — Sep 25, 2026

Mary Alice Fertic, 87, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 25, 2026 peacefully surrounded by family. She was born in Thonotosassa, FL, daughter of Lawtey and Jewel Goodson. She was a lifelong resident of the Thonotosassa and Seffner, FL area.

She was predeceased by her husband, W.E."Buddy" Fertic, Jr. She is survived by her 3 children, W.E. "Eddie" Fertic, III (Mykoung), Cathi Compton (Kent), Craig Fertic (Heather); 4 grandchildren, Shelby Humphreys (Dale), Brandy Hoyt (Adam), Emily Fertic, Chase Compton; 4 great- grandchildren, Savannah, Levi, Oliver, Logan; her brother, Johnie Goodson (Debby), and many more family and friends.

She loved her family dearly and was proud of each and every member. If she knew you, you were family. If you were with her at any time you had something to eat and something to drink, especially a cup of coffee. She truly felt very blessed with the life she lived and was grateful to the Lord for providing her with such a wonderful family and life.

Her one lasting wish is for all her family to truly know Jesus Christ and be saved so that she can see all of them in Heaven again one day. Her smiling face, genuine love, and hugs will be missed.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Mat 11:28

Until we meet again.... We love you the whole wide world and back again Grandmother.

A Memorial Service for Mary will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026 at Landmark Baptist Church (6021 Williams Road, Seffner, Florida) at 12:00pm.
