Jay is survived by his loving fiancée, Jolyne Tarver of Chehalis, Washington; his children Amanda Skvortsov(Art) Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, along with grandchildren Berlin and Maya; Tyler Sobojinski Baraboo, Wisconsin; and Trinity Sobojinski Fitchburg, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his grandparents John Sobojinski Sr. and Violet Harrison, Edward and Geraldine Erickson.
Jay enjoyed woodworking in his spare time, doing numerous remodeling projects at home and beginning to start a woodworking business with Jolyne. He created beautiful frames for Jolyne's art and custom pieces.
Arrangements are pending for a private graveside service with the family. Jay will be deeply missed by those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
