Jason Hilde

Jason Hilde, age 46, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, in Hoodsport, Washington. He was born on December 24, 1979, in Tacoma, Washington.

Jason was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend whose presence brought comfort, laughter, and strength to those around him. Of all the roles he held in life, being a father meant the most to him. His children were his world. He loved Kaelynn, Caden, and Devon with his whole heart and took immense pride in supporting them, guiding them, and reminding them every day how deeply they were loved.

He was raised by Glen and Valerie Rand alongside his siblings Bridget, Cynthia, and Michelle. Later in life, Jason was grateful to reconnect with his biological father, Mark Hilde. Family was everything to Jason. He was fiercely loyal and protective, always showing up for the people he loved. He shared a special bond with his nieces and nephews, who knew him as someone they could count on for love, encouragement, and a smile.

Jason had a lifelong passion for cars and motorcycles, and he was always dreaming about what was next. He had a way of striking up a conversation with anyone, turning strangers into friends with ease. Those who knew him will remember his sense of humor, his big heart, and the way he made people feel welcomed and valued.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Stanley and Ora Stearns, and Cliff and Elma Rand; his aunts, Janet Anderson, Linda Phillips, and Charlene Homad; his uncles, Stanley Stearns Jr., and Guy Rand; and his sister, Cynthia Smith.

Jason is survived by his children, Kaelynn, Caden, and Devon; his parents, Glen and Valerie Rand and Mark Hilde; his siblings, Bridget (Tua) Siofaga and Michelle (Tony) Hughes; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends who loved him dearly.

Jason will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his love, his loyalty, and the way he showed up for the people in his life. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him and in the lives of the children he loved so much.

A celebration of life and lunch will take place on April 18, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the DACCA Barn, Located at 2820 54th Ave E, Fife, WA 98424.
