Pat Rickert

September 29, 1928 — June 6, 2026

Patricia Louise Rickert (Faber) passed on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in her home of 40 years, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on September 29, 1928, in Olympia, Washington to parents George M. Faber and Marie E Buenzli-Faber. Growing up alongside her brothers and sisters, she attended and graduated from William Winlock Miller (Olympia High School), class of 1946. She would later work as a Revenue Auditor at the Washington Dept. of Revenue and retire in 1988.

Patricia had four children, Terry, Rick, John, and Gail. She was married three times; her first marriage to Vincent L. Brown in 1949, who passed back in 2025, remarried to Ellis Swearingen in 1968, who has since passed and then to Fred C. Rickert in 1978, who has also passed back in 2007.

Patricia loved to sew, cook, visit garage sales, and find antiques. She was a fabulous dancer and a well-versed traveler. She lived life to it’s fullest with her friends and family by her side. She had a gift of telling stories and sharing her experiences with those around her, making quick friends with anyone who was lucky enough to cross paths with her. Patricia was full of luck when it came to visiting the casinos, which she visited often, usually taking home as much money as what she went in with or more.

Patricia is preceded by her beloved parents, George M. Faber and Marie E Buenzli-Faber, brothers Harold Faber and Michael Faber, Sisters MaryJane Robins and Georgene Guerin, as well as her son Terry Brown. She is survived by son Rick, John, daughter Gail, nine grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren.

She will be immensely missed and carried on in the hearts and memories of those who loved and knew her.
