Steven Lee Nickelson

Steven Lee Nickelson was born on September 19, 1956, to parents Carl Adrian Nickelson and Betty Louise Weber in Klamath Falls, OR and passed on April 3, 2026, in Lacey, WA.

Growing up as the only boy along side his two sisters Nikki Sneddon and Cyndi Porter, Steven attended Siuslaw High school in Florence, OR., graduating class of 1975.

After high school, Steven proudly served in the United States Army for 20 years. Once he was discharged from the Army, he worked as an investigator for the Department of Licensing.

When Steven was not working, you could find him panning for gold, out in the garden, on the road traveling, or supporting his favorite football team, the Oregon Ducks. “Go Ducks!” *quack* Steven was also part of the Lions Club and VFW.

Steven is survived by his daughters Melissa Nickelson, Jessica Casanova, and Crystal Nickelson and his four grandchildren, as well as sisters Nikki Sneddon and Cyndi Porter. He is preceded by parents Carl Nickelson and Betty Weber.

There will be a memorial service held in Steven’s honor on May 15th, 2026, at the Tahoma National Cemetery at 18600 SE 240th ST, Kent, WA 98042 starting at 9:30am.
