Steven Duke Rettke

Steven Duke Rettke, 65, passed away August 31, 2018 in Lacey, Washington, his home of 35 years. He was born November 1, 1952, to Eugene Rettke and Norma (Swanson) Arnold in Tacoma, Washington. He married Tami Watson on September 29, 1984, in Centralia, Washington. Steve was a Pipefitter and belonged to United Association Local Union 26. His passion was riding bikes. He is survived by his wife, Tami Rettke; son, Sterling Rettke; mother, Norma (Swanson) Arnold; sister, Renee Rickey; mother-in-law, Dede Hurford; father-in-law, Robert Hurford; brothers-in-law, Rick Rickey, Terry Watson, and Tony Watson; and sisters-in-law, Pia Watson and Shelly Watson; along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Rettke; father-in-law, Terry Watson; and daughter, Stevie Anne Rettke. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018, 3:00 p.m. at the Lacey Community Center, 6729 Pacific Ave. SE, Lacey, WA 98513.
