Clifford Allen Wilder

Clifford “Cliff” Allen Wilder, 71, passed away on February 12, 2026, in Olympia.

Cliff was born on April 26, 1954, in Aberdeen, Washington to Cecil and Betty (Bunn) Wilder. He was raised in Montesano, Washington, and graduated from Montesano High School.

Following high school, Cliff proudly served nearly six years in the United States Air Force as a Special Purpose Vehicle Specialist. His service took him to McChord Air Force Base and to Rhein-Main Air Force Base, where he and his family were stationed in Frankfurt, Germany. After completing his military service, Cliff built a long and dedicated career as a programmer analyst with the Washington State Office of Financial Management, retiring in 2019.

Cliff had a lifelong love of football. Whether cheering on local high school teams, following college matchups, or faithfully watching the Seattle Seahawks each week, he rarely missed a game and enjoyed sharing that passion with family and friends.

Cliff is survived by his wife, Ann Wilder; his sons, Dan (Jaimie) Wilder and Lee (Keely) Wilder; and his grandchildren, Avalie, Reed, and Hiram. He is also survived by his sister, Sharol (Ron) Crandall; brother, Gene (Fran) Wilder; sister, Kathy Parson; brother, Lee (Debbie) Wilder and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia “Patsy” Wilder; his son, James Wilder; his parents, Cecil, and Betty Wilder; and his brothers, Larry Wilder and Richard Wilder.

A family graveside service will take place. His final resting place will be (MMP) Masonic Memorial Park 455 North Street SE Tumwater, Washington 98501
