Janice Putnam

Janice Putnam, 87, of Olympia, Washington, passed away on October 9, 2026.

Jan was born on December 13, 1938, in Ottumwa, Iowa. She shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband, Dale Putnam, to whom she was married for 65 years.

She is survived by Dale; their two sons, Pat Putnam and Perry Putnam (Sue); and their daughter, Pam Putnam Folsom. She is also survived by her two sisters, Judy Martin and Janie Kingston, as well as her three grandchildren (Nicole Folsom, Tyler Folsom, Riley Putnam) and two great-grandchildren (Marley & Liam) who brought immense joy to her life.

Her life will be honored on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at a noon Mass at St. Michael Church, 1208 11th Ave SE, Olympia. Following the Mass, family and friends are invited to a reception in the gathering space to celebrate her life. All who knew and loved Jan are invited to join the family.
