Patricia Ann Williams Chaboude

Patricia Ann Williams Chaboude, born November 7, 1937, in Seattle, Washington, passed away on August 6, 2026, in Olympia, Washington.

Patricia lived a full and independent life marked by strength, love for her family, and resilience. She was educated at San Lorenzo High School, graduating in 1953. Over the years, she built a working career as a secretary and administrative assistant, including service with the Snohomish County Public Defenders office and Precision Aeronautics.

She made her home in several places that were important to her life’s journey. Patricia lived in Everett, Washington, from 1964 to 2000, and later spent 20 years in Yuma, Arizona, at Bonvista Mesa Park. In February 1962, she married Donald Seipel in San Lorenzo, California. Their marriage later ended in  April 1979. In November 1985, she remarried Melvin Chaboude in Everett, Washington, and the two shared a love of travel together.

Patricia was a member of First Congregational Church in Everett, Washington. She was known as a strong and fierce woman, independent in spirit, a loving mother, and a cancer survivor. She also found great joy in square dancing and round dancing, interests that brought energy and happiness to her life.

She is survived by her son, Gregory Seipel, and by her brother, Jim Williams. May their memories of Patricia bring comfort in the days ahead.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Chaboude, who died in November 2023; by her daughter, Dawn Knapp; by her father, Josiah Wright  Williams, and her mother, Lucille Shearer Williams; and by her sister, Elaine Williams Levioke.

Patricia will be remembered for her determination, her warmth, and the enduring love she carried for her family throughout her life.
