Arlene Elaine Feldt Luczak
March 2, 1935 - July 26, 2026
Arlene E. Feldt Luczak, 91, of Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Eugene “Gene” Luczak, who passed away just a few months prior on March 10, 2026.
Arlene was born on March 2, 1935, in Buffalo, NY, to Victor and Eleanor (Adamczak) Feldt. She attended Villa Maria High School, where she played piano and was a member of the Sodality of Mary Club. On September 28, 1957, she married the love of her life, Gene. Together, they built a life rooted in faith, friendship, and unwavering devotion. During their 68 years of marriage, they raised three children and created a home filled with love, tradition, and laughter.
In 1978, Arlene and Gene relocated from Buffalo to Charlotte when National Gypsum moved its headquarters. While Charlotte became home, Arlene always cherished her Buffalo roots and cheered for the Buffalo Bills as well as the Carolina Panthers. She worked for many years in an administrative role at Jameson Corporation.
Arlene was the heart of her family. Whether hosting family gatherings, tending her garden, making crafts, baking, sharing candy, or bowling, her gentle spirit and steady presence brought joy to those around her. She was an amazing caregiver, especially to Gene, and loved her family deeply, always putting others before herself.
A faithful parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church, Arlene lived her faith through kindness, generosity, and service. She never met a stranger and had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcomed, valued, and loved. No one gave away a smile more freely. In honor of Arlene, we invite you to share a smile with a stranger, hold your loved ones close, and carry forward the warmth and compassion she so generously gave to others.
Arlene’s legacy of love lives on through her family. She is survived by her children: Paulette (Keith Allen), Paul Luczak (Valerie), and Pamela (Darrin Peine); her grandchildren: Patrick Needham (Laura), Christopher Needham (Melissa), Benjamin Needham, Rachel Allen King (predeceased), Jake Allen (Jenifer), Courtney Luczak, Allison Luczak, Matthew Peine, and Nathan Peine; and her great-grandchildren Kennedy King (predeceased), Brooklyn King, Lilly Allen, Tyler Needham, Ella Needham, and Murphy Needham.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church on Friday, July 31st at 10:00am. Interment will be at Forest Lawn East Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside Gene.
