Barbara Ann Pendleton

Barbara Ann Pendleton, 89, of Fort Mill, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Born December 10, 1934, in Charlotte, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Clarabelle Lambert Pendleton and Frank Watson Pendleton. Barbara is survived by her loving sister and brother, Jean and James Pendleton, her niece Lauren Bumgardner and husband Greg, nephews Jimmy Pendleton and wife Kim, and Ryan Pendleton and wife Katie. She is also survived by her great niece Madison Bilotta and great nephews Tyler Bilotta and Ollie Pendleton & many more loving friends and family. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by Albert Pendleton, and Thomas Pendleton and Nancy Hager. Barbara was dedicated to her teaching and counseling. She loved doing things for her church and friends and family. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Friday, March 1st, 2024 at Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28203. A memorial service honoring Barbara's life will take place at 11 AM on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 in the chapel of Hankins & Whittington. Following the memorial service will be a graveside service at Elmwood Cemetery, 700 W 6th St, Charlotte, NC 28202.
