Birtsell Marcellus Everett

Mr. Birtsell Marcellus Everett, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on September 6, 1938, in Elkins, West Virginia, Mr. Everett was the cherished son of the late Claude and Olive Everette.

Mr. Everett was a proud veteran, having served his country with honor. He worked in the manufacturing Industry for 15 years retiring in 2003. He enjoyed playing pool and doing crossword puzzles. Mr. Everett was an avid gardener and was a fan of horse racing, tennis, golf, and was a big Panthers fan.

A devoted family man, he is survived by his loving wife, Rosemary Little Everett, his daughter Krista Anne Ross (David), and his son Timothy Lane Everett (Doddi). He was a doting grandfather to his grandchildren: Jonathan, Steven, Katherine, and Benjamin (Morgan), who brought immense joy to his life.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation from 11 am to 12 pm Monday, August 10, 2026, at Woodlawn Baptist Church, located at 4622 Nations Crossing Road, Charlotte, NC 28217. Funeral services will follow at 12 pm at the church officiated by Pastor Michael Cummings, with burial taking place in Gethsemane Cemetery and Memorial Gardens.
