David George Deblitz

David George Deblitz passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply. Born and raised in Whitefish Bay, WI, Dave recently relocated to Charlotte, NC with Lis, the love of his life, to enjoy the southern sunshine.

A respected banker throughout his career, Dave was noted for his skill and experience in managing small business underwriting. He brought his sense of humor, quick wit, and direct manner of speaking to all those he encountered in both career and life.

Dave enjoyed loudly cheering on his favorite sports teams and could often be found watching the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers, and Milwaukee Brewers. His passion for golf was ever present whether playing or watching on TV. He treasured time spent with family and friends and will be remembered for his loyalty, kindness, and quiet strength.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Lisbeth Deblitz; his son, David Deblitz (Alexis), his daughter, Emily Benz (Caleb); granddaughters Evelyn and Poppy. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Marie Deblitz and his brother, Karl Deblitz (Tanya).

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
