Josef Edmund Faldus

Josef Edmund Faldus was called home peacefully on January 1, 2026. He was born June 18, 1930 in Vienna, Austria the son of the late Josef and Julianne “Korn” Faldus.

Josef and his beloved wife Gertrude were married in 1951 in Austria. They were married for 63 years. Josef and Gertrude moved to Brazil for 5 years before moving to America.

He retired from the Lundy Corporation based here in Charlotte as an Electrical Engineer.

He loved to sail on Lake Norman, fly the skies and travel the world with his wife. He leaves behind his cousin Helene and Manfort Hager of Vienna Austria, his dear friends of 53 years Joe and Lynn Bracey along with his godsons Lance and Jacob Bracey.
