In Loving Memory of
Chad Robert Gilbert
October 25th 1973 - September 17th 2026

Chad was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, and friend. His passing leaves behind a deep emptiness for those who loved him, but also countless memories that will be treasured forever.

Chad is survived by his mother, Arletta Tankersley, and stepfather, John Tankersley; his brothers and their wives; Robert and Robin Gilbert, Brad and Michelle Gilbert; his sister and her husband, Richelle and Jason Vaughn; his daughter, Brittany Thompson; and his many beloved nieces and nephews.

Chad was preceded in death by his father, Gary Gilbert, and is now reunited with him once again.

Those who knew Chad will remember him for his love of all things bikes, whether it be dirt bikes or Harleys, his adventurous spirit, and most of all, the love he had for his family. He had a way of making people feel loved especially with his hugs, they were some of the best.

Though Chad’s time with us was far too short, the memories he created will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
