David Michael Snyder Sr.

David Michael Snyder, Sr., passed away peacefully at home on October 9, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. 

Born in Kirksville, Missouri, to Donald E. Snyder, Sr. and Dorothy Helen (Hart) Snyder, David was a devoted husband to Sharon Lee Snyder and a loving father to four children: David Jr., Lisa, Dysthe, and Kristan. He was a proud grandfather to Corey, Dylan, Bailee, and Zealyn, and brother to Donald, Douglas, and Deborah. 

A CPA for more than 50 years, David founded Snyder Accountancy in 1981, building a successful accounting practice through decades of hard work and dedication. He was a generous man, serving on the boards of several nonprofit organizations, an immigration consultant and advocate, and a member of Rotary. 

Outside of work, David loved his St. Louis Cardinals, spicy enchiladas, spending time with family, and making people laugh with his wonderful stories. He had a generous heart and was always willing to help his family whenever they needed him. 

Above all, David will be remembered for his devotion to family, his humor, his strong work ethic, and the many ways he showed his love through his actions.
