Felipe Magana Gutierrez

In loving memory of Felipe Magana Gutierrez, a loving son, a sibling of thirteen, a devoted husband, a father, and a grandfather.

On October 17, 2025, Felipe passed away in his home in Salinas, California, at the age of 68. Survived by his wife, Yolanda, three sons, Felipe, Omar, Eric, daughter-in-law Jessica, granddaughter Dahlia, and soon-to-be grandson. On October 27, 1956, Felipe was born in Janamuato, Michoacan, Mexico, to his parents, Felipe and Amparo Magana Gutierrez. Felipe believed in the “American Dream,” gained citizenship, and fell in love with the Salinas Valley. He lived in Salinas for 49 years.

Felipe worked the agricultural fields until he found his 30-year passion for beautification of business/residential painting. Felipe worked tirelessly and served thousands of homes across the Monterey Bay. Felipe was a dedicated family man with traditional values who led by example. Felipe will be dearly missed. 

Visitation will be held Monday, October 27, 2025, from 1-5pm at Healey Mortuary with a Rosary at 4pm. The Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 12pm at Cristo Rey. Burial to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
