Jared Xavier Montalvo
Aug 8, 2000 — Oct 8, 2026
In Loving Memory of
JARED XAVIER MONTALVO
August 8, 2026 – October 8, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, grandson, cousin, partner, and friend, Jared, who left us far too soon on October 8, 2026.
Jared was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew him. He was the cherished son of his loving parents, Rick Montalvo and Sandy De La Cruz, who held him in their hearts from his very first breath and will carry his memory with eternal love. He was a pillar of friendship and family as a loving younger brother to Jacob and a guiding, devoted older brother to Jace.
He shared a special, enduring bond with his living grandparents, who treasured him deeply: his grandfather, Ricardo Sr., on his dad’s side, and his grandmother, Alicia, on his mom’s side.
Jared brought warmth, laughter, and togetherness wherever he went. He was a proud and supportive first cousin to Tiana, Xiomara, James, Adam, Robert, and Xenia, as well as a fond uncle figure and cousin to Xiomara’s son, Jovani, and Tiana’s daughter, Zyah, and newborn son, Nakoa, who he never got a chance to meet in person but was proud to have another addition in the family. His family ties extended far and wide, touching the lives of many dearly loved cousins throughout Washington, Porterville, and Salinas.
In life, Jared was blessed to find his soulmate, Aimee, with whom he shared a deep, meaningful connection and a beautiful life journey. Together with his constant companion and loyal puppy, Bailey, they created moments of comfort, joy, and unconditional love.
His genuine nature and welcoming spirit earned him a vast circle of lifelong friends spanning Salinas, San Diego, and the Bay Area. Whether sharing a laugh, offering a helping hand, or simply being present, Jared made everyone around him feel seen, valued, and loved.
We will never forget his humor, his laughter, his confident voice, his joy in singing, his passion to create delicious meals, his love for his family, his infectious smile, his amazing hair, his warmth, his big hugs, and his love of life.
Though his departure leaves an ache that words cannot fully express, his kindness, infectious laugh, and gentle heart will remain etched in the memories of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
He is survived by his parents, Rick and Sandy; his brothers, Jacob and Jace; his grandparents, Ricardo Sr. and Alicia; his soulmate, Aimee; his dog, Bailey; his cousins, nieces/nephews, extended family, and countless dear friends across California, Washington, and beyond.
