Jeronimo Angel Beltran

Jeronimo Angel Beltran, 78, of Salinas, CA passed away surrounded by family on September 17, 2026. Born on October 31, 1947 in El Paso, TX to Isabel and Porrfiria Beltran, Jeronimo grew up in Salinas, CA and graduated from Salinas High School in 1968. After high school, Jeronimo enlisted and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.

On September 15, 1973, Jeronimo married the love of his life, his "dear" Leonor. They had two sons, Esteban and Jaime. He is survived by his beloved wife Leonor, his sons, Esteban (Jenni) and Jaime (Mishelle), his grandchildren Alejandra, Jaime Jr., Alecia, and Ryan, his great-grandchildren Jeremy, Jackson, and Macy, his sister Tomasa, his nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and countless community members who knew him best as "Grandpa." He was preceded in death by his mother, father, brothers Samuel and Vern, and sister Juani.

A funeral service with military honors will be held at the California Central Coast Veterans Cemetery on October 12, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Relay for Life of the Salinas Valley or the Monterey County Semper Fi Fraternity.
