Patricia Jeanne Combs

Dec 29, 1946 — Feb 20, 2026

Patricia Jeanne Combs, 79, of Yuma, Arizona, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026, in Salinas, California. Born to Patrick and Ruth Thompson, Patricia grew up in Sebastopol, California. At 18, she married the love of her life, Victor Jack Combs, and together they shared more than 60 years of devoted marriage. Soon after their wedding, they settled in Salinas, California, where they built their life and raised their family. Patricia attended beauty school and loved practicing her craft on her sisters as she perfected her skills. She had a lifelong love of animals and was deeply involved with the SPCA of Monterey County, where she later retired. Over the years, she also worked in the packing sheds of Salinas, as a Tupperware associate, at the winery in Gonzales, and with The Lantis Corporation. Compassionate and accepting, Patricia welcomed everyone without judgment and often opened her home to those in need. After many years in the produce business, she and Jack retired to Yuma, Arizona, where they enjoyed their well-earned rest together. She loved playing solitaire, reading, camping, fishing, boating, and most of all, spending time with her family. Adventurous, loyal, gentle yet strong, Patricia made everyone she met feel valued and loved. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Jack Combs (2023); her parents, Patrick and Ruth Thompson; and her siblings Kathy, Mike, Joe, and Billy. She is survived by her children Misty Combs, Jackie (Joe) Nassif, and Gary Combs; her grandchildren Sarah Marlovits, Gianni Combs, Amanda Nassif, and James Nassif (Emily); and her great-grandchildren Logan and Nora Nassif, Reece Dennis, and Wyatt Marlovits. She also leaves behind her sisters Laura, Cece, Peggy, and Betty, her brothers Danny and Vinny, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
