Reynaldo (Rey) Ceballos "Bimbo"
Apr 4, 1959 — Jun 13, 2026
Our brother Rey (aka Bimbo) slipped away after a short illness. I would love to say that he was a prince among princes, but he was a mortal man whose feet were entrenched in clay. But I loved him and many who knew him well will tell you he was a good friend. Rey had been the baby of the family until our youngest brother removed him from that spot several years after his birth. His choice of life wasn't easy as he fell into abysses of drugs and would remain there for a good portion of his life. Returning to live with his mother enabled him to reach out to the clinic for assistance and helped him become the son who took great care of mom and dad until they departed this earth.
His love of animals was a huge part of his life and though he liked all, he was partial to dogs. Didn't matter what breed, size, long-haired or short-haired ... he treated his pets as family members. Rey's other interest was cars, growing his medicinal herb and love of classic rock.
Rey is survived by his brothers, Charlie Nunez (Monica) and Robert Ceballos of Salinas. His sisters, Terry Rivera (Pat) and Delilah Sausedo (Gregory). He was preceded in death by his parents, Carmen & Ralph Ceballos, brothers Tudy Fuentes, David Nunez, Ralph and Danny Ceballos and his sister Sylvia Ann Cardona, nephew Joshua Nunez and niece Mona Lisa Rodriguez all of Salinas.
Luke 6:37-41 Do Not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
