Richard J. Gutierrez, 81, of Salinas, CA, was born on November 27, 1943, and passed away on September 2, 2025. He worked at Sunnyside Nursery for 30 years and was known for his dedication and hard work. Richard is survived by his wife, Juana; daughters Debbie (Martin), Lori (Ricardo), and Kristin; grandchildren Alexandria, Michael (Victoria), Christopher (Jazmine), Stephen, Jacob, Aaron, and Ricky; great-grandchildren Makayla, Andrew, and Kiara; and brothers Frank, Bobby, Paul, and Ray. He will be remembered as a strong, whimsical, and kindhearted man who loved soaking up the sun in his backyard. A celebration of life will be held on December 6, 2025.
