Barbara Jane Howard
Apr 28, 1955 — Sep 9, 2026
Barbara Jane Howard, of Warner Robins, Georgia, passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 71. Born on April 28, 1955, Barbara will be remembered as a woman with a lively spirit, a warm presence, and a wonderful sense of humor that brought joy to those around her. Barbara will be laid to rest next to her parents in a private graveside service at Parkway Memorial Gardens.
Barbara worked at Howard's Jewelry and Gifts, where she was part of a family connection that reflected the importance of loved ones in her life. She was known as quite a character—funny, spirited, and able to make others smile with her unique personality. Those who knew her will remember the happiness she found in music, especially listening to Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley. She also found delight in dancing in her room, a simple and joyful expression of the energy and fun she carried with her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Howard and Bertie Williams Howard and brother, Gary Howard. Their memory remained an important part of her life, and she now rests with them in peace.
Barbara leaves behind her sister, Donna (Bruce) Baldwin; her brother, Fred (Linda) Howard. She held an important place in the hearts of her nieces and nephews, and her memory will continue to live on in the stories, laughter, and music that will always bring her to mind.
Barbara Jane Howard will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her humor, her love of music, and the bright, unforgettable personality she shared with the world.
