Carl Dietrich

Born to Carl Otto and Florence (Robbins) Dietrich in Evans Mill, NY delivered by his father during a blizzard at home. Carl has been residing in Warner Robins Ga since 1984. Carl was a proud graduate of Watertown High School in Watertown, NY in 1965.

Preceded in death by 2 brothers Sonny and Larry and 2 sisters Joan and Joyce.

Survived by 3 sisters Janet Oatman and Norma Jareo of Watertown, NY and Barbara Elliott of Carthage, NY. Carl leaves behind 5 children: Scott and Sherry (from a previous marriage), Candy Hendley (Brad), Dore Head, and Chad Dietrich. Grandchildren: Dixie, Hunter, Dana Mae, Jake, Austin, Brooklyn, Michael, Destiny, Dakota, Grace, Martin, Abbie, and Christian. Great grandchildren: Jameson, Adalynn, Everly, and Waylon. He was also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Carl was a proud member of the United States Air Force for 23 years. Retiring as a SMSgt in 1988. Also very active with local veterans associations, especially the VA Hospital in Dublin, GA. He was loved and will be greatly missed by his family and the community.

A memorial gathering is planned for Wednesday, August 19, 2026 between the hours of 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory. Military honors will be rendered at 3:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to attend, paying tribute to a life well lived and a legacy to be remembered.
