Cheryl Lynn Montgomery

Cheryl Montgomery passed away August 27, 2025 surrounded by her family.    A memorial gathering is planned for Saturday, September 13, 2025 between the hours of 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory.

She was born on January 14, 1965 to the late Lowell Montgomery and the late Lillie Montgomery. She was the second youngest of seven children. Cheryl attended Rippowam High School and later received her GED. She had a love for retail and was employed at Cato for 26 years.

Cheryl is survived by her four children: Sara Williams, Silva Tyus, Shawn Tyus, and Saul Tyus; 10 grandchildren: Nasir Hunt, Dyovion Holmes, Lillian Williams, Autumn Williams, Kastelle Williams, Luke Audette, Abigail Arnold, McKenzie Selbe, Heaven Selbe, and Zion Tyus. Cheryl is also survived by her fiancé, Kenny Jones, five siblings: Yvonne Montgomery, Lowell Montgomery (Terry), Vernon Montgomery, Derek Montgomery, and Karen Montgomery. Cheryl was also preceded in death by her sibling, Kevin Montgomery.
