JoAnn Kovarovic
d. May 25, 2026
JoAnn Kovarovic, 77, died peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on May 25, 2026, after a three-year battle with cancer.
JoAnn was born in Biloxi, Mississippi, on March 9, 1949, to Joseph and Ouida Duval. When she was 19 years old, she met Bob, the man to whom she would be married for 57 wonderful years.
She loved to travel, work in her yard and gardens, bowl in leagues and tournaments, and spend time with family.
JoAnn was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she volunteered at the Christian Service Center for many years.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her mother, Ouida Duval; her father, Joseph Duval; and her brother, Loyd Duval. She is survived by her brother, ElWood Duval (Linda); her loving husband, Robert Kovarovic; her children, Kim Trischan (Eric), Stephen Kovarovic (Lori), and Jason Kovarovic (Emily); and her grandchildren, Kayley, Holden (Jasmine), Damon, Annalyce, Trevor, Jacob, Joseph, and Harrison. She was also blessed with four great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of Internal Faith Hospice, who did an amazing job caring for JoAnn. Thanks also to all of our friends who showed up and helped with everything that needed to be done.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Sacred Heart School Building Fund or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 300 S. Davis Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088.
