Kathy Lynn Crenshaw, born on December 13, 1958, in Battle Creek, Michigan, lived a life defined by determination, adventure, and strength of character. She passed peacefully on June 18, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of unwavering faith, professional achievement, courage, compassionate leadership, a deep devotion to family and friends.

A proud college graduate, Kathy, considered this among one of her greatest achievements. She obtained her Aircraft Structural Technology & Blueprint Degree. For many years she enjoyed working alongside her family at the Holiday Inn.

As the daughter of a military family, Kathy developed an adventurous spirit early in life. She cherished her time living in Germany where she embraced new cultures and experiences that broadened her perspective of the world. Her love of the outdoors remained a constant source of joy. She found peaceful fulfillment in fishing, camping, going hunting, and spending time on the beautiful beaches of Panama City.

Kathy being a devoted Christian was a passionate advocate for others and a natural leader. Through her service as a Women's Recovery Leader at Southside Baptist Church, she provided guidance, encouragement, and hope to many individuals seeking healing and renewal. Her honesty, and willingness to speak her mind inspired those around her and left a lasting impact.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her children, Victoria Lynn Johnson (Alan), Charles Victor Kirby III, April Nicole Crockett (Pletz); and her loving companion of 30 years, Daryl Alexander. She is also survived by her sister, Christine Walker (TJ); her aunt, Elisa Dominguez Lovato, her uncle, Robert Dominguez; her niece, Crystal; and her nephews, Brian, Joseph, and Christopher.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth L. Pierce, and Lupita Dominguez Miller, as well as her brother, Jeffrey L. Pierce. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.

She leaves behind a cherished legacy through her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy: Austin, Meghan, Mariah (Daemon), Travis, Lavan, Alexia, Brylee, Aubrielle, Lindsey, Breyanna (Victor), Byron, MeiaBella, Brianna, Blake (Lannah), Charlee, Kaden, and Kierstin. She was also blessed with one great-grandchild, Avery.

Kathy Lynn Crenshaw will be remembered for her faith, strength, intelligence, adventurous nature, and compassionate heart. She touched the lives of many through her work, her leadership, and her love for God, family, and friends. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy lives on in the lives she enriched and the family she cherished.

May her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her. The family will hold a private memorial at a later date.
