With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a remarkable life, the family of Carol Griffin shares the news of her peaceful passing on August 12, 2026, in Warner Robins, Georgia. Born on February 27, 1938, in Green City, Missouri, Carol’s journey stretched across almost nine decades, leaving an indelible mark on every life she touched. Friends, loved ones, and all whose paths crossed Carol’s are invited to honor her memory and celebrate her extraordinary life. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory, 701 Carl Vinson Parkway, Warner Robins, GA 31093. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at the same location, and Carol will be laid to rest at Parkway Memorial Gardens, 720 Carl Vinson Pkwy, Warner Robins, Georgia, 31093.

Carol’s life was filled with warmth, laughter, and an unmistakable sparkle. She was known among all who met her as flashy, sparkly, funny, and kind—a woman whose zest for life drew people to her and made every room she entered a brighter, warmer place. Her love for people was visible in every facet of her existence, whether she was greeting friends with her signature wit or offering comfort and encouragement through a sympathetic ear.

Dedication and service framed much of Carol’s professional life. For 20 years, she was a familiar face at C&S Bank, where her steady hand and gentle humor reassured the many customers, she served as a teller. Later, she spent another 20 years as a receptionist for Dr. Gary Carter. In both roles, Carol’s unique combination of reliability, kindness, and vibrant personality touched countless lives day after day, year after year.

At the heart of Carol’s life was her family. She is survived by her two loving daughters, Bambi Yeomans (Larry) and Brenda deCardenas (Mike), who cherish the memory of a mother whose support and affection never dimmed. Carol adored her grandchildren—Lacy, Amy (Brandon), and Brandon (Cerise)—whose laughter and hugs brought her so much joy. Her legacy lives on in her six great-grandchildren: Lillie, Harlee, Lauren, Lexxie, Grayson, Everly, and 2 great-great grandchildren: Keelyn and Karson; each of whom carries a piece of her loving spirit within them.

Carol’s life, though long and complete, was not without loss. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Roger L. Griffin; mother, Jewel Reese Gill; father, George W. Gill; and her sister, Colleen Schwalm. Though their absence was keenly felt in her later years, the love they shared remains an eternal source of comfort to those who mourn her now.

Carol Griffin’s legacy is one of warmth, resilience, and a loving spirit that embraced friends, strangers, and especially her family. The world is a brighter place because she lived, and her memory will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.
