Faith was central to Pastor Ron’s life and guided the work to which he gave himself so fully. He served as pastor of Anchor Baptist Church for 18 years, faithfully ministering to his congregation and community. Over the course of his ministry, he pastored six churches, including three that were started from the ground up. His life’s work reflected his devotion, his steady leadership, and his desire to serve others through his calling.

Above all, Pastor Ron was devoted to those he loved most. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Crank, his partner of 51 years, and by their children: sons, Jason Crank and Stephen Crank, and daughters, Rhonda Finney, Jenny Fite, and Renay Hall; 27 grandchildren,1 great grandchild, and brother, Danny Rogers. The love he shared with his family was a defining part of his life, and his memory will remain a lasting blessing to all who knew him through that bond.

Ron was preceded in death by his father, his mother, a brother, and his daughter, Rachelle Crank. Their memories remained part of his life, and now he is reunited with those who went before him.
