Sally Ann Watkins

Mrs. Sally Ann Watkins, passed away in her daughters home. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Robert Watkins. 

She was born on May 29, 1937, to the late Edwin and Sara Snyder. Sally was raised in Snydersburg, Pennsylvania, where she developed the strong values and unwavering faith that would guide her throughout her life. 

She graduated from St. Joseph's Catholic School and remained deeply devoted to her Catholic faith, living each day with compassion, resilience, and a steadfast commitment to her family and traditions. Above all else, Sally was a devoted homemaker who found her greatest joy in caring for those she loved. Her home was a place of warmth, comfort, and lasting memories. 

Her family was always at the center of everything she did. Later in life, she worked at Belk, where she was delighted with helping others and sharing her love of fashion with customers and friends alike. Sally had a passion for fashion, shopping, and sewing, always taking pride in looking her best and helping others do the same. 

She also enjoyed participating in a bowling league, where she formed lasting friendships and created many cherished memories. Those who knew Sally will remember her as kind, loving, and fiercely determined.

A cancer survivor and a true fighter, Sally faced life's challenges with remarkable courage and grace. She possessed a wonderful sense of humor and had a special gift for bringing light into every room she entered. Her strength, laughter, and unconditional love left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. 

Sally was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest accomplishment was the family she nurtured. Her children loved her deeply, her grandchildren adored her, and her great-grandchildren were blessed by her enduring love and example. The legacy of faith, strength, and devotion she leaves behind will continue to live on through each of them. 

Mrs. Watkins leave behind several to cherish her memories: children, Charlene (Partner, Mike Boyle) Elliott and Russell (Mary) Watkins; grandchildren, Miranda Watkins, Bradley (Morgan) Elliott, and Brittany (Jason) Mathis; great- granddaughter, Olivia Mathis; brother, Edwin (Betty) Butch Snyder; nieces, Annette Wielock, Michelle Walters, Ann Kriebel, and Dawn Watkins- Balczon; nephew Jim Watkins and an extended host of family and friends. Mrs. Watkins will be remembered not only for her unwavering faith and dedication to her family but also for her resilience, generous heart, and the countless lives she touched with her kindness. Though she will be deeply missed, her love and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her forever. 

Mass will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 1:45 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church located on 300 S Davis Dr. Warner Robins, GA 31088.
