Apostle Samuel Akiba Eyo, age 66, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026, in Warner Robins, Georgia, USA.

Born on March 8, 1960, in Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria, to Chief and Mrs. Augustine Eyo. Sam completed his early education in Nigeria before moving to the United States in 1980. He earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from Howard University and later completed an MBA at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Sam built a distinguished career as an engineer, program manager, and business leader, serving in senior roles with respected organizations across the United States.

Sam was a visionary leader, mentor, teacher, coach, counselor, and devoted servant of God whose life reflected faith, wisdom, compassion, and a deep commitment to helping others grow. Called to ministry, he served faithfully as a pastor and founded Holy Ghost Power Worldwide Ministries in New York in July 2007. Through ministry, prayer, counseling, coaching, and faith-based guidance, Apostle Eyo touched many lives and lefta lasting impact on those he served.

Apostle Sam is remembered for his kindness, intelligence, humor, hard work, dedication, upright character, and strong Christian faith. Family, friends, ministry, and community remained central to his life, and he was known for his empathy, courage, strength, and compassion. When the going got tough, he would always say “Love Lightens Labor” and push forward.

Sam is survived by his wife, Andrea Eyo, his children, grandchildren, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Apostle Sam Eyo is deeply beloved and is Resting in Peace with the Lord. We thank God for his life and services to God and humanity, and the wonderful memories we shared with him. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

Sam, there is no "goodbye" for us, wherever you are, you will always be in our hearts. You are sadly missed along life’s way, quietly remembered everyday… No longer in our life to share, but in our hearts, you will always be.

Apostle Samuel Eyo, will forever live in our hearts. Sam loved God, humanity and family. We Love and Miss You. Rest in Perfect Peace in Jesus Name Amen.

A funeral service will be held on August 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Destiny Church of God, 244 Barker Road, Byron, GA 31008. A Thanksgiving Service will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the same church.
