Tra Chith Chao

Jan 19, 1984 — Jul 4, 2026

Tra Chith Chao, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026, in Warner, Georgia, at the age of 42. Born on January 19, 1984, in Los Angeles, California, he carried with him a bright spirit, a resilient heart, and an unwavering dedication to those he loved.

At the center of Tra’s heart was his family, to whom he dedicated himself completely. He is survived by his devoted wife of 15 years, Stephanie Chao, who stood by his side through thick and thin, and his treasured daughter, Kimora Chao, whose laughter and accomplishments he took immense pride in. Tra was a loving brother to Danny Eng, William Muy, Kevin Eng, David Eng, and Chao Chea Choup, and a caring brother to his sister Elizabith Taylor Eng. Each sibling shares cherished memories of support, encouragement, and camaraderie that will live on in their hearts. Tra’s father, Tom Eng, remains to remember his son's warmth and unwavering loyalty. He was predeceased by his mother, Noeu Sok, whose memory Tra carried with him throughout his life—a reminder of love’s abiding strength and resilience.

From his earliest days, Tra was a source of joy for his family. Growing up in Los Angeles, he spent his formative years developing friendships and values that would guide him throughout his life. He completed his high school education with a sense of pride that laid the foundation for his future endeavors. Those who knew Tra during these years recall his warmth, his infectious laughter, and his ever-helpful nature.

Professionally, Tra found a home at Parsec Train Inc., where he worked as a ramp supervisor. In this role, he approached every challenge with commitment and integrity. His colleagues respected him for his work ethic and admired the patience and kindness he offered freely to everyone around him. To many, he was not only a leader on the job but also a friend whose steadfast presence made each day brighter.

Away from work, Tra's passions were rooted in the simple joys of life. He especially cherished his time spent fishing—quiet hours by the water offered him peace and a chance to connect with nature. These moments, whether shared with loved ones or enjoyed in solitude, reflected his appreciation for life's tranquil pleasures.

As we mourn the untimely passing of Tra Chith Chao, we also honor the legacy of kindness, diligence, and quiet strength he leaves behind. He touched the lives of all who had the privilege to know him, whether through a shared moment of laughter, a supportive conversation, or a simple act of generosity. His memory will continue to inspire those who loved him deeply. While we grieve his loss, we are thankful for the precious years we shared with Tra and the indelible imprint he left on our hearts. His journey, though far too brief, was filled with meaning, love, and devotion—a testament to a life beautifully lived.

The family extends their gratitude to all who have supported them during this difficult time, and invites loved ones to join in remembering and celebrating Tra’s remarkable life.
