Wallace Terrell Abney

Wallace Terrel Abney, age 90, passed from earthly life on Sunday, September 27, 2026, in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Mr. Abney, a long-time resident of Warner Robins, was born in Cary, Georgia, to Ezra Eli and Annie Pearl Collins Abney (later Brazzeal).

He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, William Brazzeal; his adopted brother, Roland Brazzeal; and his nephew, Cameron Brazzeal.

He is survived by his wife, Glenna Wynell Yancey Abney; their son, Terrel Abney; and their son-in-law, Eddy Romero. Mr. Abney is also survived by three sons from a previous marriage; Kenneth Abney, Jeffrey Abney, and Russell Abney and their children; as well as nieces; Kimberly Roundtree, Anna O'Dell, and Daphne Wyatt; and nephews, Danny Ray Camp, Jr., Jarrid Rhodes, and Dalton Yancey.

Mr. Abney served with honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps and was retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base and from private business. He is remembered by friends and family for his love of animals and nature, his hard work ethic, his lively sense of humor, and his kind heart.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Habitat for Humanity.

Please join the family for a visitation on Friday, October 9, 2026 at 1:15 PM followed by the Funeral Service at 2:00 PM that will be held in the Chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory located on 701 Carl Vinson Parkway, Warner Robins, GA. 31093. Interment will take place at Parkway Memorial Gardens Cemetery located on 720 Carl Vinson Parkway, Warner Robins, GA 31093.
