Willie Everett Jr. peacefully passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on October 11, 1934, in Atlanta, Georgia, Willie's long and full life was marked by deep devotion to family, unwavering integrity, and a quiet strength that touched all who knew him.
The cornerstone of Willie’s life was the love he shared with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Elaine Everett, whose steadfast companionship brought great happiness and meaning to his days. Willie’s legacy continues through his children: his son, Stanley Everett, and his daughters, Myra Waldron and Marina Zelechowski, 3 Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Each carries forward his values and spirit, forever grateful for the guidance, wisdom, and love he bestowed upon them.
Willie was preceded in death by his father, Willie Everett Sr., and his mother, Selma. Their memory remained an integral part of his life, shaping him into the caring and considerate man he became.
Throughout his years, Willie exemplified the virtues of hard work, kindness, and humility. Whether providing support to his family or being a loyal friend and neighbor, he earned the respect of those around him. In his down time he enjoyed gardening, and cooking for family & friends. He took great pride being retired from the Air Force, and a System Technician at AT&T.
Willie’s life journey began and ended in the warmth of family; in every role he took on—husband, father, son, and friend—he left a legacy that will be cherished and honored for generations.
As his loved ones mourn his passing, they find comfort in the lasting memories and enduring love he shared. The impact of his steady presence, quiet encouragement, and lifelong commitment to those he cared for will not be forgotten.
