Janet Mae Abrahamson

Janet Mae Abrahamson, age 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Janet will be remembered for her kindness, strength, warmth, faith, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Her compassion and caring spirit touched many lives, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughter, Kirsten Abrahamson; and her beloved grandchildren, William Carver and Amanda Carver. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Allen Abrahamson; her sister, Constance Lewis; her mother, Constance Martin; and her father, William Martin. The family is profoundly grateful for the prayers, support, compassion, and kindness shown during this difficult time. A memorial service celebrating Janet’s life will be held on June 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Countryside Presbyterian Church, 7768 SW State Road 200, Ocala, FL 34476. Her burial will be held on August 1, 2026, at Washington Memorial Park, 855 Canal Road, Mount Sinai, NY 11766. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Janet’s memory to Countryside Presbyterian Church of Ocala.
