Judith Ann Charron

Apr 15, 1943 — Sep 23, 2026

In Loving Memory of Judith Ann “Judi” Charron (Kaminski), age 83, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2026.Judi was born on April 15, 1943, in San Antonio, Texas, to Irene and Chester Kaminski. She was the oldest of four and the only sister to brothers Warren, Wayne, and Ward. Family was always incredibly important to Judi. As a young girl, Judi loved spending summers with her grandparents on their farm. She loved being outdoors and found joy in the simple things in life. She was always ready for the next adventure. As a teenager, Judi lived in Florida, where her parents ran a small motel. It was there that she worked at the nearby A&P Grocery Store and met her future husband, Richard. On July 23, 1964, Judi married Richard Charron of Ocala, Florida. Together, they shared 62 years of marriage, building a family and creating countless memories along the way. They were blessed with two daughters, Laurie Valenti and Lisa Bogdan. Judi was a strong woman. She was outgoing, independent, outspoken, and boisterous. She was one of those rare people who knew how to make almost anything fun. She had strong political beliefs and was proud of being a Republican, never afraid to speak her mind or stand firmly in what she believed. Some of Judi’s happiest memories were made with family and friends. Summers spent camping were filled with laughter, stories, and good times. She was the “fun mom”—the mom all of her daughters’ friends loved spending time talking to. She enjoyed the arts and taking her daughters to the dinner theaters. In her younger years, Judi loved being creative. She had a passion for ceramics and painting and taught herself to crochet and sew. She enjoyed making clothes for her children and even outfits for their Barbie dolls. She was an avid reader and could often be found flying through a new romance novel late into the night. Judi was always up for an adventure. She loved roller coasters and continued riding them well into her late 60s. But perhaps nothing brought her more joy than going to Disney with her grandchildren. She loved spoiling her “grandbabies,” Julia, Connor, and Andrew. She was immensely proud of each of them. Later in life, Judi enjoyed bingo nights with her friends. She was the kind of friend you could sit with over a cup of coffee and talk about anything. Judi also treasured the time she spent with her mother, traveling to new destinations. Anyone who knew Judi knew just how much she loved her movies. A good movie, something chocolatey, and the company of her beloved pets, were among life’s simple pleasures.

Judi is survived by her daughters, Laurie (CJ Valenti) and Lisa (Chris Bogdan); her grandchildren, Julia, Connor, and Andrew; her brother, Ward (Dottie Kaminski); sister-in-law Debi Kaminski; in-laws Bobbie (Dan Aggers), Debbie Charron and Randy (Nadine Charron); as well as an abundance of beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard; her parents, Irene and Chester Kaminski; her in-laws, Roma Charron and Yvette (Gerald Hooper); her brothers, Warren (Denise Kaminski) and Wayne Kaminski; brothers- and sisters-in-law; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her nephew. Judi's memory will live on in the stories we tell, the laughter we share, and the countless memories she created with the people she loved. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

Rest peacefully, Mom. You will be loved and remembered always. You were the heart of our family, and although our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing you are no longer in pain. Your love and laughter will live on in all of us. Thank you for your never-ending strength and youthful spirit.
