Rita Magdaline Willmott

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rita M Willmott, who passed away on August 8, 2026, at the age of 89 in Ocala, Florida.

Rita was born on December 30, 1936, in New York, New York to Clara Bannas and Raymond Crawford.

Rita will be remembered for her dedication to her family. She was an excellent caretaker, especially to her husband Bob and her son Bobby, who had a special needs.

She enjoyed Bingo, Painting, Ceramics, Dominoes, gametime with friends and spending time with her family.

Rita is survived by her daughter Darlene Stevely and her husband Robert and her daughter Cynthia Willmott; her grandchildren Elizabeth Borkenhagen, Patrick Stevely, Robert Stevely and Melissa Maddux; plus, her many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Willmott; her children Mary Borkenhagen and Robert Willmott Jr; and her grandchildren Robert Willmott and Robert Borkenhagen.

A service will be held on Saturday, August 15,2026, at 10:00am at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 9695 SW 110th Street, Ocala, Florida. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate her life.
