Chelsey Melinda Pitmon

Chelsey Melinda Pitmon, age 34, of Lake City, Florida, passed away on February 5, 2025. She was born on February 10, 1991, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Cindy George and Curtis Norman.

Chelsey was the beloved wife of Mark Pitmon and a devoted mother to her son, Wyatt Pitmon, who meant the world to her. Chelsey loved spending time with her family, but most of all she cherished every moment with Wyatt.

She enjoyed watching Gossip Girl, Grey’s Anatomy, and any drama-filled reality television show. Chelsey was known for always showing up for the people she loved and caring deeply for those around her. Her love, loyalty, and presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Chelsey is survived by her husband, Mark Pitmon; her son, Wyatt Pitmon; her mother, Cindy George (Jason Woodle); her father, Curtis Norman (Gina Norman) Victoria Crow (Tom Crow), her grandparents Ruth Norman and Brenda McClary, her siblings, Shiann Uhler (Chris Fowler), Brandon Norman (Dana Norman), Morgan Woodle, Riley Woodle, Kate Hurt (Brad Hurt), and Kelsey Davis (Sean Davis); and her beloved nieces and nephews, Olivia, Liam, Lily, Ashlynn, Leon, Lily, Levi, Bo, Bailey, Krissy, Elliot, and Josie.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Wendel Pitmon, Edward George, Catherine George, Thomas Norman, and Junuis McClary.

Funeral services will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, located at 5946 SE Robinson Rd, Belleview, FL 34420. Services will take place on Wednesday, February 18,2026, at 10:00 a.m., with a viewing beginning at 10:00 a.m. for one hour, and a funeral service to follow.

Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Crum Cemetery, Summerfield, FL 34491.

Chelsey will be remembered for her love for her family, her kind heart, and the deep bond she shared with her son. and the special joy she brought to those who knew her.
