Mike Barbier

Nov 8, 1958 — Aug 24, 2026

Michael (Mike) William Barbier, 67, of Belleview, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2026.

Born and raised in Flint, Michigan, Mike eventually made his way to Florida, where he built a life filled with family, hard work, friendships, and memories that will be cherished for generations to come.

Mike was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was the beloved husband of Lori Barbier, with whom he shared 43 years of marriage. Together, they built a beautiful family and a life filled with love. He is survived by his three children, Kristine Wicker (Stephen), Michael Barbier Jr. (Aimee), and Nickolas Barbier (Adrienne), and his ten grandchildren, who were among the greatest joys of his life. Being a husband, father, and grandfather was something Mike was incredibly proud of, and his family will forever carry the love and memories they shared with him.

Mike was also a hardworking and dedicated local business owner. In 1985, he founded Mike’s Appliance in Belleview, a business he proudly operated for more than 40 years. Through his work, Mike became much more than a business owner he became a familiar face, a trusted name, and a friend to countless people throughout the Belleview community.

Above all, Mike will be remembered for the life he built around the people he loved. His greatest legacy is not only the business he built or the community he served, but the family he leaves behind and the love he gave them.

Mike will be deeply missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, extended family, friends, and the many people whose lives he touched throughout the years. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the stories shared, the lessons he taught, the relationships he built, and most of all, in the hearts of the family who loved him so deeply.
