Patricia "Patti" Kluenie

Patricia "Patti" Kluenie, 68, of Summerfield, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, July 28, 2026.

Patti was born on April 4, 1958, in Peoria, Illinois, to Oran H. and Marie S. (Stecher) Byrne. On July 5, 1980, she married the love of her life, Charles "Chuck" Kluenie, and together they shared 46 wonderful years of marriage. For more than 40 years, Patti was a devoted parishioner of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Belleview, Florida.

Patti worked as a real estate appraiser, but her greatest joy was found in the time she spent with those she loved. Whether traveling, camping, bird-watching, gathering with family and friends, or simply enjoying quiet moments at home, she cherished every opportunity to create lasting memories.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oran and Marie Byrne; her brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Ruth Byrne; her sister, Mary Ellen Byrne; her mother-in-law, Frances Kluenie; and her brother-in-law, Hank Kellington.

Patti leaves behind her beloved husband, Chuck; her daughter, Danielle (Dan) Heaton; her son, Jonathan (Nicole) Kluenie; and her cherished grandchildren, Decklin, Diem, Holly, and Emily. She is also survived by her sisters, Carol Kellington and Sue (Chuck) Woolley, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 11528 SE US Highway 301, Belleview, Florida, with Father Tom officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in Patti's memory to St. Theresa Catholic Church.
