Ada Victoria Jara

Ada Victoria Jara, 73, of Ocala, Fl, began her Heavenly journey on August 31, 2026. Ada was born on November 8, 1952, in Lima, Peru, to her loving parents; Daniel Garate and Juana Malarin.

Ada became a resident of Florida on December 26, 1982. She married Victor Jara shortly after, in 1983. Ada was of the Catholic faith and regularly attended Mass at Blessed Trinity in Ocala.

Ada enjoyed spending her time cooking, gardening, and being at the beach with her husband. She was a bright, kind, and loving spirit. She loved to dance and she loved her family and pets very dearly. She had a good soul and was great with children.

For many years she worked in aftercare programs for school and acted as a mother to the children she took care of.

Ada will be missed dearly; she leaves behind her husband, Victor Jara, her three sons, Hugo, Luis, and Jonathan, siblings Joel, Wilfredo, Thomas, Ellen and Connie as well as her two beloved dogs, Thor and Bailey.

Ada is preceded in passing by her parents, Daniel and Juana, two brothers: Daniel and Elliot, and three dogs, Chico, Chewey and Nico.
