Caryn Lee Scarborough Simmons

Caryn Lee Scarborough Simmons, 83, of Ocala Florida, passed away on July , 2026, in Ocala Florida.

Caryn was born in San Diego, California to Carey Lee Baker and Charlotte M. Roesch

on April, 1943. She was married to Earl M. Simmons on January 5, 2002. She was a

hairstylist for many years. Caryn enjoyed many different hobbies throughout her life.

Caryn is preceded in death by her husband Earl M. Simmons and her mother Charlotte M. Roesch.

Caryn is survived by her children Tami Sponholtz Dixon and Chip Dixon, Wayne Dwight Sponholtz, Robert Lance Scarborough, Timothy Lee Simmons and Legacy. She had no siblings. She had many grandchildren and great=grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Sept 3rd, 2026, at City Light Church with Pastor Ken of City Light Church officiating. Burial will follow at Highlands Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services Ocala and her daughter Tami.
