Daniel Thomas Jr

Daniel Thomas Jr. of Ocala/Wildwood Florida passed away on July 6, 2026 at age 58. Dan graduated from Ocala Christian Academy and went on to serve in the United States Navy aboard the USS

Forrestal. After his time in the service he attended the University of Central Florida and upon moving back to Ocala he became a manger with Sears and eventually started a small business servicing Marion, Sumter and Lake County.

He is survived by his son Daniel Cooper Thomas, Father and Mother, Daniel and Sandra Thomas, sister, Belinda Lowery, his nephew and two nieces, Haley, Mason and Makayla as well as Coopers mom and sister, Kathryn Thomas and Jordyn Shaw.

Dan enjoyed spending time with family and friends, sports, going to Gator games and going to Jeep Beach with his son, Cooper.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 1, 2026, at 6:00pm at Good News Church of Ocala 5600 SE 24th Street Ocala, FL 34480.
