Dr. Thomas Frank Mammana
Jan 29, 1947 — Oct 14, 2026
Dr. Thomas Frank Mammana, 79, of Summerfield, FL, went to be with the Lord on October 14, 2026. Thomas was born on January 29, 1947, in Staten Island, NY, to his parents; Frank and Bessie (Kerr) Mammana.
Thomas was a proud veteran of the United States Army for four years and courageously served in Vietnam. His servant's heart led him to continue tending to the public as a chiropractor and nutritionist. Thomas owned and operated his own practice for over 50 years; he cared deeply for his patients and will be remembered as a healer.
Thomas became a resident of Florida in 1998 and was a devout member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Summerfield. He was very dedicated to his work as a chiropractor, but in his free time, enjoyed musicals, movies and reading sci-fi novels. He was a philosophical thinker, a true romantic and overall intelligent man with a knack for building meaningful relationships with those around him. Above all else, Thomas was dedicated to his family. He loved his children, grandchildren and sisters dearly.
Thomas will be missed by his family and his community, and remembered fondly for his selfless nature, his great sense of humor and being an overall extraordinary, yet humble man.
Thomas is preceded in passing by his beloved wife of 54 years, Carol J. Mammana, who passed on June 9, 2021. He is also preceded by two daughters, Dana Maulson and Tina Life, his parents, Frank and Bessie Mammana and a sister, Carol.
Thomas is survived by his children: Thomas (Brittney) Mammana, Joel (Katie) Mammana and Carrie (Kyle) Helt, his grandchildren: Chelsea, Mason, Cameron, Hayden, Dalana, Andrea, Julia, Kasey, Abby, Callie, Cole, Madison, Logan and Autumn, as well as his sisters; Dolores and Vicky and his companion, Kathy, and several loving nieces and nephews.
