Janna Cassidy, born July 21, 1978, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away on May 6, 2026, in Inverness, Florida.

She was the third child of Rev. Raymond Brian Cassidy and Rev. Mary Ann Cassidy (née Barkley). She is survived by her older sisters, Jennifer Warrior and Julie Dyar, and her beloved longtime companion, Jay Goldstein.

Janna was deeply loved by her family, friends, and the staff and community at Key Training. She participated enthusiastically in plays, talent shows, volunteer activities, and especially karaoke, where she loved singing for anyone willing to listen. She enjoyed swimming, getting her hair done, helping others, and making sure her friends and neighbors were happy and cared for.

Janna will be remembered for her caring heart, spirited personality, wonderful sense of humor, and unmistakable sass. She faced life with courage and determination and continued living each day as fully as possible until the very end.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to your local hospice organization. Hospice caregivers provided wonderful and compassionate care to our parents and our sister during their final time on this earth, and our family is deeply grateful for all they do.
