Mary Ann Cassidy

Rev. Mary Ann Cassidy (Barkley) age 87. Born in Tucumcari, NM on October 24, 1938, Mrs. Cassidy went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 28, 2026. She devoted her life to ministry and service to the Body of Christ. Called to the mission field at the age of eleven, she spent the last 47 of her 62 years in ministry educating and mentoring the next generation of ministers in Ghana, Nigeria, India, Romania, Hungary, South Africa, Nepal, Guatemala, and Uganda. A resident of Ocala for 30 years, she is survived by two of her three daughters, Jennifer Warrior and Julie Dyar and their families including six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, one brother Rev. Bronson Barkley, and a vast extended family whom she loved. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Raymond “Bud” Cassidy, and two brothers, Robert “Bobby” Barkley and Edgar “Yossi” Barkley. The dual graveside service for her and her daughter Janna Cassidy will be 10 a.m. August 29, 2026 at Highland Memorial Park.
